Theme: "Psalms, Hymns, and Spiritual Songs" (Ephesians 5:19)
This 3.5-hour workshop is designed for music ministry workers across the US, especially choir conductors/pianists, hymnal worship leaders/pianists, and songwriters/lyricists/composers. Church council members overseeing church choirs and hymnal worship services are also encouraged to attend. During the workshop, we will:
- study key concepts of music ministry as outlined in Ephesians 5:19,
- explore ways to pass down the important components of sacred music to future generations,
- introduce changes to the new hymnal scheduled to be published in 2026,
- demo the new IA Music App, and
- share updates on other projects and available music ministry resources from IA/USGA.
In addition to completing this registration form, please fill out the survey form (anonymous) by February 28, 2025. The survey questions will also help participants become familiar with the core materials of the workshop.
All relevant and interested music ministry workers are encouraged to attend and help pray together for this sacred music workshop. For any questions, please contact the Music Ministry Committee at music.ministry@tjc.org.
