Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:
Hallelujah! Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
We are pleased to announce that the 2026 Canadian Young Adult Spiritual Convocation (CYASC) will be held in Toronto Church on June 5-8. The CYASC aims to provide spiritual cultivation and fellowship opportunities for college youths and working youths. This is a great opportunity for youths to find a quiet time to draw close to God, and find spiritual friends in the Lord.
The event details are as follows:
- Friday June 5, 2026: Registration at 5:00PM; Dinner at 5:40PM; Opening Ceremony at 6:40PM
- Monday June 8, 2026: Concluding at 2:00PM
- Location: Toronto Church (69 Sunrise Avenue, Toronto)
- Theme: Be Ready in Season and Out of Season (2Timothy4:2)
Please note the logistical details below:
- All participants are requested to arrive at Toronto Church by 5:00PM on Friday June 5, to be ready for the evening Sabbath service. Please avoid travelling during Sabbath.
- To alleviate the host church’s workload, all youths coming from the same church are encouraged to fly together as a group to and from Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) or Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ).
- The YASC is open to a maximum of 50 participants. Lodging will be prioritized for out-of-town participants. Lodging will be provided for the following dates: June 5 – 8.
- We ask local church participants to bring their own sleeping bags.
- We will not provide print out notes, therefore, we ask all participants to bring their own laptops or tablets to take notes.
If you have any questions, please direct them to Sis. Anita Chen (iyin0381@gmail.com), Sis. Rachel Chan (rach.wing293@gmail.com) or Pr. Barry Chiang (barry.chiang@tjc.ca).
Please remember the CYASC in your daily prayers. Thank you for your cooperation and may God bless you abundantly!
