When: Labor Day Weekend, August 31 - September 3, 2018
Who: All youths (age 18 - 40)
Location: Dallas Church
Theme: Taking the Baton
What better way to spend Labor Day weekend than to fellowship with other youths from across the US (and maybe from all over the world)? All youths are invited to attend and learn about taking up the baton of faith from the second letter of Paul to Timothy: "I charge you, therefore, before God and the Lord Jesus Christ ... preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season" (1 Tim 4:1-2). The classes, fellowships and recreational activities will foster the spirit of preaching the word and fulfilling the ministry entrusted by the Lord.
Lodging will be at Dallas Church with recreational activities, including a high ropes course, at local venues.
Logistical Reminders:
- A freewill offering of $50 per person is encouraged (either by mail or in person)
- To alleviate the host church’s workload, all youths coming from the same church are encouraged to fly together as a group to either Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL) or Dallas Fort Worth Airport (DFW).
- The event will include a high ropes course as well as other outdoor activities, so please plan your apparel accordingly.
