Please be informed that due to the current circumstances, Music Camp will be held online from July 17 to July 23, 2021. Check-in begins on Saturday, July 17 at 3:45 pm PST, and the program begins at 4:00 pm.
Music Camp is open to those who are of E2 to J2 age. Those in E2 must already be in E2 as of the 2020-2021 RE year to apply.
The theme for this year’s Music Camp is “The True Worshippers.” The goal of Music Camp is to provide an environment for brothers and sisters interested in music ministry to receive training in utilizing sacred music to share the word of God and strengthen the faith of themselves and other members. Although no elective projects will be offered this year, students will continue to use their creative skills, including singing and playing instruments, to explore ways to praise and worship God. (MMP projects will still be offered this year, during MVP, held during July 10-16, for J2 and above.)
During the program, participants will be expected to remain focused and arrive punctual to each class session. The online platform to be used has yet to be finalized. More information will be provided to registered participants at a later time.
As this year's Music Camp is online, in place of an in-person evangelical worship service, we will make an online music worship video available after the camp concludes.
Due to the online format for this event, space is limited and first come, first-served; please sign up as soon as possible. Once we reach capacity, registration will be closed.
If you have any questions regarding Music Camp, please contact the coordinators at swrmusicministry@tjc.org.
